Account Activity

The Account Activity section provides a full login history for you to view.

While you cannot take action on anything here, this is provided for your peace of mind and record.

Login Types

After signup, the login types that appear in your account activity will either be successful or failed.

A successful login attempt is one where the login worked and full access to the account was granted.

A failed login attempt indicates either:

  • The password entered with the email address was incorrect
  • The password was entered correctly, but the 2FA code was wrong.

Risks

Sometimes, the platform may flag a login as suspicious and classify the possible risk. A risk can be classified as either low, medium, or high.

Regardless of the risk level, we recommend you review the details of that login and confirm with certainty that it was you.

While we cannot provide specifics on how we determine risk levels, here’s an overview of the risk types:

Low Risk logins are very likely something you won’t need to worry about. These are flagged when something minor has changed from your usual logins, such as:

  • Updating your browser
  • Using a different device (i.e., a computer you haven’t used before)

Medium Risk logins possibly indicate that it wasn’t you accessing your account. These are flagged when something more significant has changed from your usual logins, such as:

  • Logging in from an entirely new location but with a recognized device

High Risk logins very likely indicate that it was not you logging into your account. These are flagged when multiple factors have changed from your usual logins, such as a combination of:

  • Entirely new location
  • Unrecognised IP address
  • Unrecognised device

If a high risk login was detected and it wasn’t done by you, you should change your password immediately, even if it was a failed login attempt.
